NAPLES, FL USA – Drug Free Collier recently announced their new board members, with the new team taking effect immediately. The new board will serve in their roles for a 3-year term.
The new board members that Join Drug Free Collier CEO Guy Blanchette on the board are as follows:
Vicki Tracy, COO, Gulf Coast International Properties
Krista Casazza, PhD., Scientific Director, Critical Path Institute
Dr. Darren Clair, Medical Director, Vibrance Health
Patricia Lawton, Branch Manager, Lake Michigan Credit Union
Drug Free Collier’s mission is to unite the community to protect the children of Collier County from substance abuse. Formed in 2005, Drug Free Collier partners with several local organizations such as Collier County Sheriffs, Collier County Public Schools, David Lawrence Center, Grace Place, and Florida Department of Health-Collier County/Tobacco Free Collier, to name a few, to work on community level change.
The organization has developed many initiatives to support Collier County youth including teen leadership groups CORE and CORE Outdoors, as well as Operation Medicine Cabinet, a successful pharmaceutical take-back program sponsored by Drug Free Collier and held in collaboration with Collier County Sheriff’s Office. The program mitigates the misuse of unused prescription drugs, helps keep harmful drugs from falling into the wrong hands and offers a responsible alternative for reducing pharmaceutical contaminants in our environment. Drug Free Collier also delivers Botvin Lifeskills to Middle and High School students.
